Coconut Sword - Game Model
One of the elements I was most excited to work on was the coconut fur.  I used MASH to generate a set of planes around the shell, and then stacked their UVs for easy texturing in Substance.

One of the elements I was most excited to work on was the coconut fur. I used MASH to generate a set of planes around the shell, and then stacked their UVs for easy texturing in Substance.

For this project, my focus was to model some thing a bit more stylized. When I found the concept art for this sword, I immediately knew it would be perfect for practicng cartoonish modeling, painterly textures, and texture-based fur effects. This is another game model, so the tri count sits at only 4,246 tris in total.
